First class coverage of Hickstead, and they are back for all 4 days for the RIHS. far better than the BBC , just wish S Hadley commentated as he really does now the jumping job, and puts it over so well.

Totally agree, it was amazing camerawork. I am lucky to have it in HD and it did make a big difference. Well worth paying £10 to add the sports channels and I'll wait a few days to give 30 days cancellation notice so I can watch RIHS as well.

Absolutely great coverage - the BBC have a lot to learn about pre competition build up, interviews etc. The Sky camera coverage was phenomenal - even able to see the horses shoes coming off. I am sorry to disagree with Stateside but it was great not to have to listen to Stephen Hadley's commentary - he has not been really interested in show jumping for many years and was way out of touch - I even recall him saying that he did not know one of the riders or anything about them. Surely that was his paid job to find out all the history before the competition and tell us! Andy Austin was a great technical knowledge and knew all the riders and horses. Mike Tucker was his normal amusing dry wit.

Totally excellent.

Except its not worth paying £10 per month extra if all you watch is horse sports, wish they had done it on a pay to view option for those not sky sport subscribers I do not mind paying once but I am certainly not going through all the hazzle of subscribing to the sports only to then have the hazzle to give them notice to desubscribe.

Can you tell it is a sore point :)

I did it all online and it took about 5 mins :)

Hmm,was told £18 by the OH,will check :p
I think it was worth it,and wont be canceling untill after RIHS-the coverage was first rate and I really enjoyed it.
Living in Yorkshire,it would have cost a hell of a lot to get to the show plus entry/food ect and I would simply have missed a show I have been in love with since my teena so I think Sky did offer value for money, been quite nice to catch up on the wrestling too ...what a guilty pleasure! :D

with full package and eurosport u can watch the global champions tour which is fantastic best horses and riders in world...only downside of hickstead is the real lack of internationals...guess derby is too specialised (although i still love it!)..
