Well a day mixed with saddness and happiness today... Moonshine who we bred 4 years ago, left for the UK, my daughter now lives there so he is off to join her...
He was such a star tonight, we had to meet the lorry down the track and it was dark, so I led him down with a friend in a car following, well he marched me down the track, sniffed and snorted at the ramp, (HUGE lorry) and then walked straight on... and hes not been loaded for 2 years and that was on a trailer... so he should arrive in the UK on friday, ive packed his suitcase with his winter woolies, and all his belongings... so ADIOS Moonikins I will miss you, but will visit when im over...
(well one good thing, I now know how to sort out a Transport permit for a horse to travel oversea, just incase I sell any that go there..)
here he is saying goodbye to his full brother Apache...
and goodbye to Harley, my stallion who he has lived with all his life..
