Ooooh, I've bought another horse! This time, from someone I know and I know his exact history and what a corker he is! He's on my FB page, name of Darcy, cob gelding, black & white (piebald, getting the lingo ;) ), 4, and will reach approx. 16'1-3ish.

I've been riding him whilst Boris has been in limbo and he really is a superb boy - if only I'd of been a bit more astute in the first place!

Anyhoo, I've now got 2 :o :p and that was never the intention... hence the title ;)

Will try and get some pics up, have tried before but it's been a right faff!!!

Oooh :D

If they're on facebook already, right click and then "copy image location" then press the yollow button above the reply box on here, with the mountains on, and then paste then it should work :)

How exciting for you :D He sounds lovely can't wait to see some pics :D

I'm not shore you ever intend to get two. I didn't anyway it sort of just happened. I've just seen another poor pony I'd love to have but sadly we don't have the room and I think my OH would KILL me. :p :(

My ginger beastie is a Darcy... Mr Darcy if he's feeling particularly snotty... :D

I'll head over to the FB page now to have a peek at the piccies...

:)

He's beautiful! :D If you really want to get to grips with the lingo though, he's a black tobaino (piebald is old school :p)

I hope he brings you many years of fun :)

O, he is very smart you naughty, naughty thing you :p

I don't think many of us mean to end up with two, I know I didn't! He looks lovely, best of luck with your new horse :D

Do you have a husband in tow MrsB ? if so you going to have to be very well behaved !!!
Any way fab news we want piccys on here for us Facebook challenged people.

Me likey! I do like a nice coloured, and he is very nice and nicely coloured ;)

Is that Boris in your siggie pic on FB too?

I am in danger of joining the 2 horse owner club shortly. I didn't realise that was a temporary thing and I might soon be in the FIVE horse owner club. Gulp. I really do think the OH will leave me if I do that !!

I'll try this...

This link should work, you don't have to be on faceache, it opens it up, so give it a go!

Goldenstar - I'll have a husband in tow as from Sat 5th May, I'm getting married then! Second time lucky ;) He can't say much really, he's got an off-roading land rover and a range rover, so he's got 2 extravagant cars!! I'll have 2 extravagant horses, cheers very much :p

Genuinely a curious question...and I don't want to derail the thread... But wouldn't a tobiano have white going over the back?

I get somewhat confuddled by the whole colour genetics thing... :)

MrsB's Darcy... :)

Ahhh he's lovely MrsB what a nice horse I love the pale mane .
I am glad the future MrB to be has a nice time consuming activity to keep him out of your horse time, MrGS hunts in winter but is a pain in summer however he announced he was buying an eight acre wood adjoining the GS hacienda at Christmas so now spends much spare time in an unending fight of man against scabby trees armed with a chainsaw .perfect !!!.

Thanks Ladydragon for putting him up on there!

BTW, I'm not really a midget, that's my daughter on him ;) :D she's just turned 7 - there's no way I'd put her on Boris like that!!!

GS - what a perfect set up you have there! MrB also has chainsaw and regularly goes log-rustling in his off-roading thingy, coming back smelling of chopped wood (hmmmmm, nice :p) He's not really into horses but can ride, you never know, I might get him on Darcy-boy!
