I don't know if you read my post the other day but toi cut a long story short I have been offered a TB which I was unsure about as I couldn't get straight answers about her.

Anywho...

I went to see her today and hacked her out alone and she seemed to have the makings of a good mare which I'm pleased about as they said it's her last chance, accepted leg and contact a bit jiggy joggy but walked back in the heaviest of traffic.

so she comes on Saturday !!! ha ha I might do a blog on her progress from start to finish

she's a bit goose necked and scrawny at the moment so watch this space .............

No after I decided, I tend to rehabilitate the odd racehorse when I have room ( I live amongst alot of race yards)

Love ex racers and really enjoy working with them but I usually know the trainer/yard staff and can get a general idea on the history etc

I didn't know the trainer of this one and it came to me through word of mouth and I so couldn't get much of an idea of it's background but I feel I can do something with her from riding her so fingers crossed!

I will post pics when she comes and try give regular updates on her progress

a 7yo bay mare with 7 flats and 4 all weather? she's got video of her races on attheraces.com.

Sometimes the only way to go is with your heart. Good luck with her and get the piccies up :)

I have had a really crap couple of days, life and people really suck sometimes.
Reading this has really lifted me. Sounds like she has won the horsey lottery. Good luck to both of you. You have gone someway to restore my faith in humans.
