I have booked the places at a livery yard..!!!! :D
It might not sound like much but I have real confidence issues when it comes to new surroundings and people so this was a massive step forward for me. :o
The horses currently live out 24/7 with no facilities etc but as they are youngsters I really need to be able to work them properly. So they are moving to a yard with and outdoor floodlit areana, plus a large jumping areana and a mini cross country course. The stables are a nice 14 by 14ft with rubber matting so I dont feel guilty about cooping them up :rolleyes: And there is all year turnout etc. Im so pleased and so far the people on the yard and the YO are all lovely :)
The only thing is that its 12 miles away and Im going to miss having the guys at the end of the road where I can see them any time of the day or night.:(

Pointless post really but Im really pleased with myself for finally biting the bullet :o
 
Well done you, I am not very good at change have been at same yard for 27 years and the thought of having to move and go some where else is really scary so I know where you are coming from there. It sounds like a lovely place, so I really hope that it works out for you all, you will have to give us an update on how its all going. Good luck with it.
 
You have done well, the journey is a disadvantage, but bringing on youngsters in a place with good facilities makes life so much easier, I do hope you have lots of fun and pleasure as you develop them to their full potential.
