... Thank you ever so much to Matt_b and AndyPandy for their time (really lovely to meet you too) and also to Anastasia (although I didn't get to meet her, as she is beyond the border again

) for allowing me to visit and see Vision!

WOW!!! He is totally awesome!! I'm absolutely smitten with him!! SO elegant and yet substantial. He is honestly the best named horse ever I think, because he is simply a vision to behold and he will only get better with age, as he matures and fills out.

He is the closest I have ever seen to Sportsnight in the flesh - I guess Dutch horses are my thing

Needless to say, I am 99% positive that if I breed B back this year, it will be to him - you never know, I may just get my dream horse - Sportsnight cloned! Also, think of the fun I'm gonna have naming it - by MFS Vision, out of a Sportsnight mare.... already been playing with names

Was lovely to meet the other horses at Matt and AP's too - HG's Teddy, is also very well named, as he is a big cuddly teddybear, lovely tempered stallion!! And we all know he's gorgeous from his pics on here! Also met Cordy and Kizzy of HG's - both lovely!! I met Matt's lovely grey too, tres smart ponio!! Plus the cutest jumping pony (is that HG's too? Can't remember, sorry
blush.gif
) Also met Law's lovely Mr Darcy - I love Welsh Cobs!!

Was a good morning, though I had to be back at work for lunchtime, so was a bit fleeting.

I did take some photos, but I honestly HATE my camera!! I should have used my phone, it's much better! Anastasia has given permission for me to post this pic, though I really must stress, it does him no justice whatsoever, but you can see what an impressive frame he has to fill!

He is just rising 6, but has done all his growing upwards rather than outwards, so now is starting to fill out into his frame. He is around 17.1hh and very tall through his front. He stands uphill, so finds it easy to do the same when he moves...
smile.gif

He has been very busy with the last two breeding seasons, so on the riding front has only been kept "ticking over", but this year we are hoping to concentrate more on this front.

He has just been allowed to grow, mature and basically enjoy life as a young horse (in the summertime when at home he is outside from 6am - 8pm, next door to mares and loves watching over them), plus enjoy his girlfriends...

Do not believe in pushing horses at a young age, as am looking at the long term prospects for them. I would say that now he is physically and mentally ready for the challenges that lie ahead under saddle....LOL though he may not see it that way..

Goodness he is very like that pic of SN you have - the one from eventing, I think?

This one?

Also, look at the likeness in these 2 shots - I've flipped the image of SN. SN was 10 in this pic - such a shame he was injured and went blind and had to stop eventing. Apparently WFP remembers him well, for all the right reasons!

Thankies hun and you are most welcome!

The one of him cantering, i was only 16 in 97 so it was a while ago, but it looked familiar!! I live about 30 mins from there and I remember begging my Dad to take me to one of the open days they had!

I think so!!! If it was there, did the school have a grass bank on one side?

Its terrible, I have such an awful memory, however I blame my Dad, cos he dragged me all round Lambourn to see every racing stable going, so I may be completely and utterly confused with some place else!!

Vision is a stunner, glad you liked him. (But his cuddles aren't as nice as Teddy's!!

He is lovely, and I will follow his progeny very carefully as there is just something about him that makes me really want to breed again!

I sure did meet him. He wasn't tantruming, but was a little distant....

WHY did you not come over and say hello? Am I that scary?

Vision is just stunning, but few horses give cuddles like Teddy does!

Was a tad dull eh! I still think that every village needs a house like the millenium one! This is the Muppet Character I was on about - no idea where I got purple from, he'd blue

Thanks again and sorry it was so fleeting!
