Well, I tried plaiting...

Improvement from the few you did on last pics, well done. If you want cc, pull the first few cross overs tighter at the start of each plait. And I think its easier to practice sewing into balls than bands. For practice you can thread a needle with one long piece & just run it through all of them once you've done the plaiting part.

Well done!! Make sure you use some good spray stuff to get it sticky, then you can pull it really tight to be able to make the plait tighter.

You can try a LITTLE bit of hair gel to smooth down the small sticky up hairs.

Bunch the hair along, then the section you want to do, make it damp with water.. then plait tight and fold of roll up and secure with bands .... if I want them to stay in for a posh event I use eggyolk instead of water

Been thinking lol.... you might find it easier to use 3 bands, one for the bunch, once for the plaits end and one for securing into the roll??
