BEACH GALLOP!!!!

I'm cacking my pants.

I've galloped the horse once in the year I've had him, he was an angel however... he's never ever been to the beach before. Waves comes close, waves go away, waves come close, waves go away....

Hopefully, I'll be back later to let you know how it went!!
 
LIved at the seaside many years ago and got to ride on the beach everyday. it was fantastic. You will really enjoy youself.

I'm so proud of him. He was a bit apprehensive at first but took it all in his stride. We even cantered through the water up to our friend and got her and her horse soaked :D that was fun.

The first stretch was a fast canter, then the next two were full on fast gallops. It was the most exhilerating thing I have ever done and a moment I will never forget.

What lovely pics looks like you had an amazing time.
I can't wait till I take Herbs to the beach, although non of are beaches are as lovely as yours :(
I took Lucy once But she wouldn't go in the sea, also we couldn't gallop as the sand was frozen. (well it was -3 at the time :eek: ;) :D ) But we still had an amazing morning, one i'll never forget :)

If your user name is anything to go by, your certainly on the right track to riding again :)


Laura - we had to travel 30mins in the horse box to get there but it was sooooo worth it, suprisingly warm too
