Well, I'm actually pleasantly surprised!

Having had a baby 9 weeks ago (now where have those 9 weeks gone exatly!) I wasn't entirely sure just how much riding I would manage and resigned myself to pony pampering with the aim to ride once a week!

WOW, how I have exceled myself! As long as I feed little legs by 7.30 then I can be out for 8, at the yard for ten past and manage a ride while little legs sleeps, and I have even been managing to get mucked out and evening feed/nets done etc so it only takes 10 mins or so in the evening, although YO wil bring in if I need.

I'm actually rather proud of myself as I was sure that riding would come to te detriment of the housework etc.

OK, so a little self indulgent but I'm quite pleased with myself, now, next to get to a show!!

I fear that might be a task in itself!

How much riding are you guys managing to get in x

Many years ago I had a 4* horse to ride as the owner was pregnant; everyone was happy and I thought this would continue after the birth for months to come! How wrong was I! Baby was parked in a pram/pushchair at C from just a couple of months old and mum took back the ride!

Not exactly a comp horse though, showjumper had to go back :-(
