Took my second spill of the pony last night. I was riding in the woods alone and we were coming down a hill. Pony slipped to his right and a tree got hooked under my leg, between it and the saddle. Pony decided something had grabbed him and he took off, peeling me off in the process. Im so embarrassed! but strangely liberated... falling off was in the back of my mind when trying to canter but now I realise it wont hurt that much in the school. I got straight back on. Oh and it was all captured on gopro lol

Pony was a star and stopped around a corner, looking for me, and when I called his name he visibly sighed bless him. I think it needed to happen and Im glad it did :)

The only down side is I have an interview this afternoon and Im covered in bruises and limping (I landed in kneeling position). Good job its in my current team lol

I have no idea what the point of this post is, just that this was possibly the best thing that could have happened... could have happened on a better day though!

Hope you feel less battered soon .It happens to us all and not really the pony's fault in this instance.I came off last week when the buckle on the bridle broke and the bridle hit my horse betwen the legs !!! horse leaped in the air I exit side left .Fortunately in a rubber suface school.I feel battered and have bruised ribs and bruised back so like you limping .The only thing is I don't bounce like I used to when younger.
Hope your back to full fitness soon .Hot soak and a glass of wine help!

Often the fear is worse than the reality lass. Glad you're comparatively okay.

Having had interviews with (all at different times!) a broken leg (in an airboot), a broken wrist, a broken back, a bleed on the brain, and got them all, then you'll be fine :)

A good Radox bath for the aches, arnica for the bruises, and chocolate for the soul and you'll be fine lass :)

Interview is over! would have gone better if I hadn't turned up but hey ho...

Now I can concentrate on picking bits of the forest out of my hands that are wedged in there lol

Sounds like it was a good release (the fall)

Sorry to hear about the interview, but fingers crossed you did better than you think you did.

P.s I kinda want to see the go pro vid! (sorry!) :)

I have edited the vid but for some reason it wont go onto photobucket?! Ill keep trying...

Put MagSulphate on the splinters last night and about half have come out so Ill try again tonight.

I had a riding lesson yesterday and feel very sore today lol glutton for punishment that I am

They are in there deciding right now (its a position within my team) pah... I just want to know one way or another
