Well I've had the results back!

Yay :-) It's not a tumour. Had a lump removed from my horses Larynx, they don't have anything conclusive as to what caused it although it was most likely a foreign body, he had been eating a lot of thistles previous. The vet who did the laser treatment to remove it says he's hopeful he didn't damage the cartilage. Silly me didn't ask what would happen if he had. My vet who treats him normally says it's a very exciting case from a vets point of view, as it grew quite large in such a short space of time. Maybe we will never know what caused it, just hope it never comes back and he makes a full recovery.

Don't you just love it when they get excited about abnormal things??? My silly previous vet was rubbing her hands together with joy when she diagnosed (incorrectly it turned out) my horse with EHV as 'this will be the first horse in the Midlands to have this and I will be able to write a thesis about this'. I could have happily socked her one in the gob! :eek:

Thats what I thought, glad he's excited I was terrified.

LOL - nowt so queer as vets!!

BHW I'm v happy about the results! Good job!:D
