Recently I received a parcel from a well known online equestrian company. Used as packaging were old invoices! There were a large number of them and it was possible to read names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, quite possibly of YOU! I complained to the company by email but never received a reply apart from a "thanks for your email, I have passed it on to a manager", so reported them to the Information Commissioners's Office, who has taken up the case.

Has anyone received anything similar?

Not sure if I should name names on a forum but they were returns invoices so if you haven't returned anything, it won't be you.

As you can see, quite a few!

That is shocking. I haven't ordered from them for years because their delivery service was very poor. My order was split into 3 deliveries over 2-3 weeks and yet none of the items were anything unusual, so it put me off. Glad it did now.

I've had problems with this company before....failure to exchange a faulty item (they admitted it was faulty and OFFERED an exchange, 3 months later still waiting on the exchange - despite numerous emails.), failure to pay refund etc. Such a shame as their website has so much choice!

Their customer service is shocking!

Oh dear this doesnt sound good I wonder if they will over take DH in th bad service stakes.

The really annoying thing about this is that that must be a very cheap shredder, most cut the pieces length ways too so then they wouldnt be readable
