Well my target has been set

I've been talking to my friends recently about my target of one day competing (dressage) at Addington (I’ve visited when helping a friend competing there) or somewhere of a similar type as it's a fairly prestigious kind of place (well it would be for me). So my friends have been plotting, and I’m aiming now for the winter championships - which gives me from June 30th 2010 to November 30th 2010 to get two 1st places over 65% in qualifiers - just aiming for Pre-lim at the moment, we're only just starting to do some Novice tests and don’t want to push it!

So I think I’ll provide a regular update on here for anyone interested (and if you're not very sorry to bore you!) on how me and my girl are getting on!

Fairly pointless, but I’m a little excited and looking forward to having a target to achieve!

Anyone else aiming for anything this year/next few years?

Best of luck I find having a goal is great for keeping me motivated, so fingers crossed you'll make it! I went there for my regional champs a couple of years ago and it was certainly an experience Much bigger than any other dressage shows I'd been to.

I have a target this year too - to save enough ££ to get my own transport, after 18 years of blagging lifts Then looking forward to getting out eventing again!

I have set myself a target - planning on doing our first dressage test (i haven't done one for over 10 yrs!) at the end of may. My TB is rising 5 and very green, alot to work on! also planning on getting out and about more this year
