Am I happy? NO not one bit..

She fell when they were loading her last night but DID NOT tell me,.. and definatly DID NOT tell me shed grazed the skin off of both hocks. Which may well cap..

She doesnt load very well at all!

Got her home.. and I aceept this is my fault for not checking...

But she was advertised as a 9 year old.. and she is infact 11 next month.. NOT a happy bunny..

Anyone got a printer?

Ive jsut wrong the owner, She was very appologetic and said she honestly thought that she was 10 next month not 11..

She is putting me a cheque in the post tomorrow morning.. so we shall see!

Oh thats a shame- but she's still the mare that you tried and liked, so all's not lost. I hope things get better for you though.

No suggestions except I think you had it on previous posts - will it be saved on any of them??? Not sure how these things work?

You can also email Horsemart with the ref number and they can email you the wording. They did it when i needed my boys advert

The vet should have picked it up on the vetting as well. They have to fill in the age by documentation on the form.

Really sorry she's not what you thought she was.
 
Aw bit of a let down, but as you say she is still the horse you liked, so hopefully you can soon sort out the loading thing and she will be everything you hoped for.
 
Oh nailed, how annoying, haven't posted but have been reading. I really think they should have mentioned the injuries from last night, and you should also prob check your horses advert before advertising it.

But I do think it is possible for horses to get very used to their own lorries/trailers which may have caused the initial problem. I only say this cos I have one, though am not sure I would sell her as good to load, I prob give them prior warning. Did she load ok into the lorry?

My pone wil load into anything with everyone. Mum's horse takes a little persuasion if she doesn't know it, her trailer, straight up twice a week a diff lorry/trailer can be diff situation. Even when we got a brand new trailer she was very suspicious so we did have to go back to basics and walk he in and out lots to start with just to get her confidence. As I said would prob exclude loading from her advert and elaborate when the people came to view. so hopefully yours will perhaps just be the same and just need a little trailer practice without any time pressures.
