My little welsh B has ballooned this week....had a negative pregnancy blood test,and I'm really concerned about laminitis so I've confined her to barracks.

I've soaked hay...have left the radio on and she was screeching like hell when I left her. I've also separated my other 2 into side by side paddocks because oldie is in season and picking on new girl.

So they're all going to have to just get on with it!!! I'll go back in a bit and check all is well,hate to see them unsettled,but I've had enough of pussyfooting around them.

Mareishness!! Fattiness!! Had a gut full.....better than lami and broken legs though in my book!!

Sounds eventful!
Mares are often a bit of a pain - as is summer grass. We're never happy whatever season it is! Have some cheesecake along with MrsM's hot choccie xx
