Well some-one got themselves a bargain

We had a bit of a tack sort out and have been ebaying off lots of bits & pieces, mostly new or with little usage.
Anyway, we sold a pair of black sabre leather open fronted tendon boots, cost over £80, used twice, like new for £26 plus £3 p&p. Talk about a bargain.
But why is it when I'm looking for something, I can never find such bargains?!

I sold a brand new Thermatex on Sunday for £31! I thought it would make quite a bit more, especially as a second hand, patched one sold for £62 yesterday. Hey ho - thats ebay.

yup i've sold a load fo stuff like that too

but then again i've had my fair share or bargins too so it's swings and roundabouts

I sold an In hand bridle for a fiver and one liveries at my yard got a john whitaker tendon and fetlock set for £15!

Then again £26 is £26 (less the ebay extortionate fees) better than it still cluttering up your tack room.

Are you all ensuring that your items finish at 'popular' times?

For example the best bargains I get either finish at ridiculous times, or on a summer Sunday afternoon when everyone else is outside and not on Ebay!

That always happens to me too. I have a set of New Hoof boots on Ebay at the moment, starting at 0.99p and I paid £90 for them
