My little terriers weight has crept up recently, he’s always been pretty trim. I’d put it down to a change in walking habits. Less free running due to harvest vehicles and muck spreading
we have been doing lead walks more often.
The kittens get fed either on the floor where the dogs know not to take their food, or if I’m not in the room up on a bit of worktop (away from where we make our food!)
They have an arrangement of baskets and breakfast bar seat to get up high enough.
I’ve just found Cecil dog on the bloody work top wolfing kitten food down!
I work in this space sometimes and he can’t get up on the seats without help!
I had no idea he’d worked out the basket staircase
His face was a picture “ahhhh sh*t”
Guess I need to rethink that plan and get walking further!
