We didn't bother going showing today......so he went to his second ever showjumping - the last time he jumped was last summer!! as i don't do jumping i lent him to one of the girls from the local riding club i help with - well, he proved what an honest and versatile young man he is..with a rider who hadn't sat on him for over a year, he went in the 2' - 2'3" and just had one down and a little wobble at the double (has never seen one before!!) I think workers is the way forward for him!! I realised today that you can keep your pretty show ponies that have to be worked in for 10 hours and mustn't jump in case they get a mark on them and will keep my wonderful versatile, if slightly plain family all rounder!!!

I agree, lifes too boring otherwise, I suspect he will love doing jumping and doing workers (Franks forte)

I am all up for do anything go anywhere ponies (and have one!)
and he isn't plain!!
 
LOL u can give him a jump if you want to - it'll be like riding a tank compared to jazz!!!
 
he really is go anywhere and have a go pony!! he's off to dressage next week *hopefully*!! and we may have a go at gymkhana games - that'll be funny HA HA!!
IT just gets you down when people keep making nasty comments :-(
 
He looks lots of fun - don't know who's been putting ideas into your head that he's plain - he looks like a very pretty welshy to me!

yes same cob!! I just have a better camera angle this time!! he has quite a short puggy sort of head, not pretty and dished like most welshies!!
