And my boy has gone on trial for four weeks, they was impressed with him. They had big articular lorries come past. Bin men, Milk man and specifically asked him to shake the milk crates to see if he did anything.

They was smacking lamposts to see if any reaction, seeing if he bothered with prams, even met some random green box on our travels and was hitting that but ben was happily munching the tree next to it lol he does make me laugh.

So thats it no horse for 4 weeks. Fingers crossed he passes vetting and they want him as he would be ideal for them.

I am feeling sad but at the same time I am happy

Thank you, hes got cleveland bay in him and is also IDXTB and is 18hh lol.
He is a star in every way I cant fault him, he just isnt a competition horse, he tries his hardest for you but it just isnt fair on him.

i've got one of them !!! carefully bred as competition horse and my boy popped out instead !. IDxTB 16.3. looks the part ( untill grows hairy armpits in winter ) but the brain doesnt want to do the job. as i am also not really cut out for competition we suit each other well but his previous mummy despaired ! he find his tb bits at most unexpected times though which livens things up a bit. Always wondered about police for him but he's too much what i need. Hope your boy does well. good luck

Sounds like you made a difficult decision, but what is best for him.

The police look after their horses very well and they go to great retirement homes too.

Well I havent seen anything for me yet. Im not going to rush into anything just yet he could be coming back yet.

I dont know what I am going to do with myself for 4 weeks now

Hope they like him

Sounds like he was his usual well-behaved self.
If you find yourself missing horses you're welcome to come and have a ride on Meg

He was such a star they was really impressed with him, My friend knew they would be just didnt expect them to take him the same day.

Just send me a PM if you get bored then and we can sort something out

At least you know he's gone to a very good home; I can't see them having any problems with him

hay twinkle toes just to let u know Ben is doing fine, i am one of the grooms and have been looking after him since he came yesterday.
He is a really nice boy and has settled in really well like he has been here for years.
Put him on the walker for a bit before and he was really good, put him on with Willow so he has got a girlfriend already.
But dont worry he is fine, getting loads of attention and cuddles, and a nice big bed.
