Did the the SE ride today at Foremark, very well marked ect thanks to Ange and her team.

Anyway I was expecting to get drenched and blown off according to weather man, but hey we got away with it, no rain while I was riding and I did the 15 mile route, no real wind to speak of either, just shows you shouldn't organise your day around the weather forecast.

Only annoyance was how many cars just wont slow down, what is it with people.

Amazed anyone managed to achieve anything productive today the weather being what it's been like, without getting drenched and blown totally off course; so very well done. Glad your weather's been better than ours has been here in East Devon this morning. Eugh yuk. Worst I remember for a VERY long time.
 
Generally around the quiet roads here, the lorry and van drivers are very good.

And generally anyone with a child in the car, particularly on a school run, are the worst and to be avoided at all costs. I was nearly driven into recently by one mother who was so busy pointing out the horsey and looking at the child in the seat behind her that she had no idea where she was going.
 
Hi..........I did the ride too - weather was very kind to us!!!!

What a fabulous place to ride...........kept thinking how lucky horsey peolpe are living in this area.
 
It's that stretch of road I hate, some drivers just dont slow down , rest of the rideing in that area is great, it's nice round Robins Wood which is close by as well.

I helped on that ride last year, I sat for hours against that hedge you go through off the road, I got abuse from some drivers who didn't even have to slow down as there weren't even any horses at that moment in time

Well done for percevering on a day like this! I just about managed to ride before the wind got going again!

The worst drivers around here are (very ironically) all the people going to see their horses at the local livery yard. Even my non-horsey OH remarks that their driving is insane!
