At long last we have actually done it.................................................
our first Intermediaire 1, that is!
First of all trainer said wait a bit, then when he said OK they cancelled the comp but we finally made it on Saturday.
I am now officially a Group 2 rider!
Bless my little pony. He tries SO very hard to understand my fumbling aids and I couldn't believe it when I crept back to the scoreboard to see what the judge thought and found that we'd even...................................................
won the bloomin' thing!
I have to admit that there were only two of us in the class but we earnt a respectable score of just under 63%, (I was aiming for 57/8%) and were 6% ahead of the other rider.
Sorry for the totally self indulgent post but it's not that long ago that I'd never ridden an affiliated test and our outfit is very much run on a shoestring, no lorry, no sponsors/wealthy owners or rich OH, just grim determination and at times it seems, more than my fair share of luck!
