Tbh, it wasn't as clear as that, but I did end up flying through the air, landed on the arena sleepers and broke one of them with my head!!!!!

I haven't been able to work much in our lovely outdoor over the winter as it's not floodlit - we have an indoor but it's not very big, and so I don't get much chance to work on canter.

Last night the light was fading but I decided to cram in a bit of a session.

He was very good, but being a little spooky in one corner (it was almost dark).

We were cantering at that end, and he wobbled and I kicked him forward *blushes* He just went PING and through a wopping buck!

I almost stayed on but as he turned the corner I just flew!!

It was totally my fault, as the only other time he has got me off, was in his first dressage test, he was worried and backing off and I gave him a very poorly timed smack!!

He reared spun on his hocks and was OUTTA THERE! leaving me flat on my back!

I should have learned that he is so genuine, that getting tough when he is genuinely worried is the LAST thing I should do!!

Ah well, none of us are infallible! Poor George and silly mummy deserving of her bruises!!
