I couldn't get hold of B last night, so it looks like i am going to have to give up and as soul destroying and heart breaking as it will be, i think i'm going to have to watch my 5 years of hard work with Holly be completely undone and destroyed.

Have spent the past few days tearing myself apart about it and i just don't know what else to do.

I know that eventually i will get Holly back but she will be completely ruined and i'll have to redo all that hard work to get her back to how she was.

Am so upset about the whole thing

No, from that horse - it might be better for your peace of mind just to let it go. After these people have finished, there is nothing to say this situation won't arise again in the future.

I think sadly thats what i'm going to have to do.

That is so hard though, walking away from 5yrs of work with Holly, to just give up.

ETA I am totally dreading going to the yard this evening. It used to be my 'happy place' where i would go to get away from everything else and i've never dreaded going... now i do!

'i know after tonight i won't be able to bring myself to speak to these liveries ever again for all the hurt they are causing me '

it possibly isn't entirely their fault if they have been misled by the owner, who is perhaps the person you should be angry with.

Well it is a lot their fault. They can't even cope with their own two bad mannered horses never mind anyone elses!

Just got a msg saying back person is there now checking Hollys back and one of the other horses too. Wonder what she will say.

Be brave - tell the parents of the person who rides Holly how you feel (maybe not in front of their son so that you don't hurt his feelings). Do it calmly & just explain that Holly is learning bad habits which you are having to undo. Then get hold of Holly's owner & force him to make a decision - he's going to have to choose between you and their son - either he carries on riding her and you stop loaning her or the son stops riding her and you carry on. But nothing will happen unless you spell it out to all the parties involved. I know it will be terrible if you have to walk away from Holly but after reading your recent posts the current situation seems unbearable to you anyway!

Their son is a 30yo grown man, what i cannot understand is why he even wants to ride a 14hh welsh cob that is Holly.

Welsh cobs are not really a good beginners horse either.

B is just ignoring the whole matter so i think i have no option but to give it up. Sadly.

I even text our old livery who we had probems with before last night saying i'd much rather have her back than the two we have now.

Sad to say but i don't know the answer to that anymore.

Would be really insulted and upset if they were chosen over me as i've spent the past 5yrs there with B and family and helped out loads.

They've only known these two liveries not even a year yet!
