I need a pair of wellies that will withstand general yard duties, lots of mud etc, will be worn most day and ok to hack in. Must be 100% waterproof as hate wet feet!

I previously brought both Dublin River and Estuary boots neither lasted much longer than a year and at over £100 a pair I was very disappointed. Emailed Dublin about quality and they didn't even seem to care so I want to avoid Dublin products.

Previously had standard Hunters last less then 6 months and I brought a pair of Kangol Wellies for £20 to test quality and they have last less then 6 weeks!!!

I don't want to spend £100's but don't mind investing in a pair if they will last years!! People tell me stories of their boots lasting 5+ years but I am yet to find a pair!!

My Ariat Grasmeres last me years, not even sure how many 3 or 4? Just bought my second pair, yes they are a bit pricier but I've managed to buy end of line both times with about £100 knocked off. Wasn't as impressed with the windermere boots, they only lasted a little over a year before they started letting in water. I wear mine day in day our, ride, muck out and walk the dog in them. Very comfy too!

I've just purchased Ariat mud busters. Too early to say if they will last, but very warm, substantial, tall (I hate mid calf ones) and comfy.

They won't ! They will split after about 6 months.

The only good thing about them is Ariat customer services and the 12 months replacement guarantee

Make sure you check the fronts on a regular basis ........

The last pair of mine they replaced was a different type of rubber. These ones made it to 13 months so just out of the guarantee

Don't do Aigle! 3 days in and I had to take them back!

There must have been something worng with them. Mine are 5 years old and still going strong. Well worth paying a bit extra for them. Very comfy and warm. I found a pair on Amazon that were considerably cheaper than others as they were end of line. Only down side was they were brown which I wasn't keen on to begin with but the good thing is they don't show the dirt!
