Am umming and arring between buying more wellies (v comfy Dublin deluxe ones) for approx £25 and last me about 6-8 months or spending more and getting something that will last me a lot longer. That's where you lot come in.....

I havent had either so cant vote but my Chameau neoprene wellies were £90 in 2003 and are still going strong despite virtually everyday use even for beating on shoot days.

I love my Dubarry's in winter and although they get wet I don't stand in rivers in them! For really wet conditions then Le Chameau; as well as being completely waterproof they are also warm and comfortable.

Dubarry's are very expensive at around £200. The Dublin River boot is a little under £100 but Dublin are essentially a midrange brand and I have heard bad things about these boots. I would recommend the Ariats I have just bought - the Iceberg tall at £100. Very good value for Ariat boots and they come recommended by someone who has had some for a year.

But I should add I bought mine for riding too and they are only waterproof to about 6inches deep(ish) as they have a zip.
