Well, after taking my second pair of Hunters (in 2 months) back to the shop, can anyone suggest a pair of wellies?

Preferably not too expensive, durable and from somewhere with quick postage?!

Shop insists on sending them back to Hunter so I'm not sure what the outcome will be. In the meantime though I need a pair of wellies with all this rain!

After going through 2 pairs of Hunters, 3 pairs of Joules, 2 pairs of Rydale I have now settled on cheap and cheerful Dunlop ones for £7.

TBH these are the best wellies I have ever had - boring green but durable and value for money they are on my 3rd year now!

Yeah same happened to me, shop then sent most of their stock back to as they had complaints about imperfection's on quite a few pairs! I was fed up with soggy toes and have used really cheap one's before which lasted 2 days and a livery's horse stood on my toe :-(

i have two pairs of joules wellies

one i got in 2005 and are still going strong today!

they were £35 so not exactly expensive

i got the other pair for christmas and was saving them to use when i broke my others but my others are fine so have resorted to wearing both on different days :)

they will arrive quick if ordered of joules website

i ordered a burghey hoody wednesday afternoon it came friday morning

i ordered a gatcombe gilet on sunday and came about 10 tuesday!

plus if you order now you get a £10 off voucher on our next purchase :D

I've had a pair of Lowther wellies for the past year, and they are only just beginning to leak, which is a vast improvement on my last pair of Hunters. Interestingly, they are made by the same company as their budget boot!! They still have a good tread, something my Hunters lost after 3 months. They sell for £17 from my local feed merchants!

Cheap and cheerful from local agri store with good treads. Stick a pair of insoles inside to make 'em a bit more comfortable.
Can't see the point of spending out on fashion wellies - they all get covered in mud and worse whether they are 7 quid or 70 quid.

I've been through all of the above except the Dunlop's as they are green and I just wont wear green (superstitious) :) I now have Ariat wellies and I love them.
