I wouldn't want to walk very far in my dunlops but they are fine for trudging to the field and back. I have expensive gloves too ;) - less said about your willies the better though :eek3:

Century have gone out of business yes unfortunately but my sister (Stencilface) and I found some via Wellywarehouse and they were only £30. Whether they have any more left who knows. There were quite a few ebay sites selling them too. This was about 3 months ago. A good deal I thought considering they were about £60 originally.
 
Another Dunlop convert - mine are synthetic sheepskin lined. Warm, comfy and cheap! Not the height of fashion but no one sees me in them and they often are teamed up with my jimjams first thing in the morning...

yup that site had some green and lady ones left :) in more than a size 3 :)
 
I have aigle wellies, they have a gusset so you have plenty of room for calves. They have a proper instep sole and I can walk my dogs for miles wearing them.
 
I have worn muck boots for years but they are so slippy and the last pair split fairly early on. I now have Seeland Estate wellies, lovely and warm and comfortable and no slipping on mud.
 
I'm a fan of Le-Chameau, pricey, but for me, worth every penny, first pair lasted about ten years and I'm currently into the third winter with my second pair, I look at it that if you break the cost down over the years it works out cheaper in the long run (well, that's what I said to the OH when he asked ;) )
