Wellington Riding, Hampshire

I too have been there on a residential holiday about four or five years ago. Was fantastic! Made loooads of friends I still chat to now, the ponies were fab and learnt so much. We got taken out on activities such as iceskating (where we witnessed a womans finger be sliced off, was beautiful) and various other things. I did pairs dressage and we came third, and also I was 1st in tack and turnout! I had such good fun and would love to go back again. Staff were lovely and so helpful but also encouraged you to be independent with your horses. There is also the option of taking your own but I had literally only had my new pony a few weeks so didnt take him. The riding instructors were great and you were assessed at the start so you got suitable teaching. The dorms werent bad, basic but had a communal feel and thats the whole point of the holiday.

Would highly reccommend it. xx

My daughter went twice a few years ago. She took her pony with her the second time but couldn't take pony the first time as they had a strangles outbreak. She really enjoyed it, learnt lots and had fun. I used it as child care as I was working and she was on holiday from boarding school and as she was 11 at the time, I didn't want to leave her at home all day by herself!
