Here's another person who's disappointed in the quality of Hunters. I work at a yard and do lots of walking in them, and the last 2 pairs I've had have split at the top near where it bends when walking. It's just that they're so darned comfortable, and I'm loathe to buy another brand if I'm going to have to contend with blisters etc. Might have to though - Hunters are too pricey to be disposable .....

I cant get into Hunters/Aigle etc, and I doubt the Le Chameau would be any better... I have the Muck Book Co ones, but I think I prob get the blokes ones cus I pay £60ish for them...I still go through a pair every year, but Im in them 14+hours a day in all weather, working the horses (inc miles of long reining!!) and sorting sheep etc.... I suffer terribly with chill blaines, and the muck boots are the only ones that keep them at bay.
Unfortunately this year I may have to go down the cheap Dairy farmer green welly route, as Im so skint its unbelievable! :(

I bought some Tayberry Muddies last year and they've been brilliant. Made from neoprene so lovely and warm, only problem is I think they're all a boring green colour. I paid about £45 for them off ebay. Can't say how long they will last as I've only had them since last winter. I could never wear a pair of wellies which hasn't got neoprene in them anymore, I must be getting old as I now put comfort and warmth well above style!

Love my muck boots, have the tyne (I think) sport ones - I have never had such comfy, warm, dry feet all winter! I did love the aigle iso ones, the footbed is really nicely shaped and v comfortable (I didn't find the le chameaus so comfy) but the legs on the aigle were far too wide, so even in the right foot size it was like wearing buckets! If they did a narrower one though I would have had them in a flash.
