Anybody got any experience of either of these breeds? What are they like, strengths/weaknesses? Any pictures?

In the next few days i'm going to see a TB X Warmblood filly, six months old and a few Welsh D X Warmblood youngsters, colts and fillies.

Thanks!!

I have a Welsh d x kwpn who is 8 months old - she is on my Sig. last one on the right.
She is gorgeous with a lovely
temp and a promising future :)
I also have a native x wb filly. :)
They make fantastic crosses if the parents are well suited for the cross. its the same rule with any breed.
Native x wb are versatile, hardy and willing.

I have had a couple Welsh D x WB (coloureds in fact) and they are super! They got the hardiness of the Welsh and their dam's super strong feet with the movement of both parents. I have now sold both and the owners are thrilled to pieces with them...the elder is ridden and absolutely lovely and trainable under saddle. The younger is now a yearling and owner loves her so much that if I had another she would have bought him or her too!

This is the yearling: http://www.equinoxsporthorses.co.uk/esh-sempers-sapphire.php

and her dam and older siblings: http://www.equinoxsporthorses.co.uk/gwyneth-star.php

WE have foaled two WElsh D x WB foals this year and they are both stunning and very correct! One of the fillies has been out and won pretty much everything she's been entered in in-hand!

I have had a few to ride as adult horses and can honestly say they were a pleasure, sporty, athletic and real competitors when out and about!

I've bred three WB x TB foals by the KWPN stallion Mooiman out of my 7/8 TB mare who competed up to Inter I level.

Oldest one is now 5yo and going great guns under saddle. Never ridden such a well balanced youngster, learns fast and is really uphill and athletic.

She is the chestnut in the album, the bay is her Mum.

This is the second one - he's now 18 months old, was going to sell him but lost baby sister so he is now staying.

My much missed Grace, lost her aged 7 weeks old to complications from a second out of colitis.
