Sad state of affairs, I have been Autumn Hunting my 20 year old Arab/Cleveland Cross Mare, she'd never done it before and she absolutely loves it, picked up on everything and loves the Hounds. I am in North Wales and live on the edge of one county where all the meets take place, but I can no longer attend as we are not allowed to cross counties. The county I am in does have an occasional meet but its a long trek away as I'm only a mile from the other border .Our Hunt is doing their very best to stick to all the rules, bless them, and I shall respect them.

How frustrating and feel your pain. We are lucky our pack stay in the same county, although the 2 neighbouring pack straddle two which could be problematic if either county goes into lockdown.

We are in Powys.

Oh that is a shame. I live on the border of Counties Sligo and Mayo and when lockdown eased somewhat I was allowed 20km into Mayo so maybe Wales will follow suit to reflect people living near the border with another county often use services across the border.

Urgh this whole year has been so frustrating (to say the least). I’ll be impacted if London goes into lockdown as I travel bloomin miles for horse activities and to the yard. Although I know there’s been a fair amount of bad press about hunts even continuing and I expect more disruption through the winter.

I so hope so, my favourite place is only 3 miles away and yet I can't go as its in the other county!

One good thing is our local Police are not only policing us but the sabs as well......as some come from out of the counties.
