Welsh ponies and Dressage

Does anyone pull and plait their welsh ponies for dressage shows or do most people leave them all natural??

My welsh's mane is pulled a little but i dont plait

mine is pulled and plaited (otherwise it looks like a mohawk ) when it was long I used to running plait it.

I have a connie with a long mane and don't plait it It's too thick!

I used to do a tight running plait for my pony's mane and obviously a little plait for the forelock.

I plait the Welsh Cob...his mane is pulled to showing length and thinned enough to make plaiting easier

tried both ways...bizaarly, i have taken his feathers off and left his mane this year as he has been getting very cross about plaits...and it i soooooooooo thick x
