Can anyone recommend a good Welsh Section A stud? Not sure if anyone has bought a pony from one and had a good experience and pleased with their pony temperament wise?

We are looking for a childs pony so temperament is key.
 
Go on Hamlets House Forum..its natives only & lovely people on there will help you...they will be more than happy to guide you, pm me later if you can't find website.I'd say go & type the same message in a hello new person message-they are all very friendly & will love to help you..they helped me tonnes with Juniper & many buy repeatedly from one another so you will be in safe hands x
 
Not sure if it is a stud you really want as all the ponies will be young and probably unbroken.

Depends what you want to do with the pony? Just ploding around - try the pony club or top level showing leadrein/first ridden then buying a baby from a top breeder is your way forward.
 
i have a great gelding from the beros stud- he has a fab temperment, hes a great lead rein and first ridden pony. is great to handle on and off the ground.
 
we bought a 6month old colt from Lambury stud (http://lamburystud.co.uk/ he's actually the foal on the front page :D) with the intention of him being a childs pony.

he's been fab. he's 4 this year and when we started backing him last year he didn't bat an eyelid. in fact i got on him bareback and rode him round the field having been pretty much untouched for the past 6months
 
Brimclose stud on exmoor. They specialise in palominos, I had an unbroken 3 year old from them and I promise you would not be disappointed. She only tends to breed one or two a year so they get lots of individual treatment and are not left as yearlings to go wild. Mine was so easy to break always placed at shows. The lady there shows them in hand before sale they are always sold as very well handled polite well treated ponies. Mines fantastic with children and has been from the word go. They really do have the best start at Brimclose. Me little palomino is always getting compliments, promise you would not be disappointed.
 
Waitwith ponies are lovely ponies and do well under saddle. You will find yourself spoilt for choice looking for Section As to be honest. We have a Penhwnllys pony that we broke for the L/R job and she is lovely - very bold and un-spooky but rather opinionated!
