i'm planing on taking my yearling section b to her first show! I've heard she should be shown in a natural state but i get mixed msgs what should i do with her????

As a m&m she should be shown 'natural state'. We lightly pull the names on the sec b's, tails shouldn't drag on the ground but try not to make it look like it's been cut too much. She should be shown in a filly slip, lightly trimmed under jaw/whiskers to tidy the face a little. Hope this helps :)

Yes thanks:) how about the forelock, if its long and over her eyes?? Also not sure about clipping as iv'e been told they shouldn't be but somepeople have said they do??

You could lightly tidy up the forelock, but only the really long hairs, do it so it still remains natural looking. I wouldn't be clipping her as she's to be shown inhand and its frowned upon, usually most top ponies would of been kept rugged so their coats stay short, but at more local level there of course will be plenty of hairy ponies so don't worry.

thanks for the advice!!:) i wont be clipping her she's a stunning looking lady just the way she is! I may be biased a little;) lol. I recon she might get marked down compared to the 'naturally' short haired/clipped ponies though :(
