here's my boy, excuse the weight, this is when he first came, he's on a diet and being broken at the mo! he's got oodles of character, and is as gentle as a lamb, and has been such a sweetie i backed him myself!
Sooty has Beano who is full Sec D and I have Toff who is half Sec D! Both are very different and very full of character.
Beano is one of the most affectionate horses I know, and for his age is very sensible. He is only 2 but is fine in traffic, he is good at shows, loads himself, good to hose, wears tack with no probs,is good to lead/handle, is good with farrier/vets etc and won't leave his stable until asked!
He only has 2 "issues", one is having his sheath touched, which we are working on and improving, and the other is turkeys!!
Xmas again soon *shudder*
He has his moments as any horse does but he does try to please and has a proper sense of humour!
Here is a link to his life so far... Beano
Most people on here know more than enough about Toff, plus she is only partbred so will leave her "character" out of this post as wouldn't want to give the breed a bad name

oooooo i loveth him lol! i thought he had a section d look about him
mine is in my signature. he's 15.1hh and Maesmynach/Llanarth bred
He got to Medium dressage, 81 BD points, 4th at the Area Festival Finals, won rossies in dressage, show-jumping, eventing, hunter trials, combined training, showing etc etc - he always came home with a handful - super talanted boy.
he tries his heart out for me and is an angel in the school, but spooky and quick out hacking. he can be bolshy and bargy, but rarely tries anything with me - will seriously try it on with anyone new though, until put in his place!
Rosie whose about 14.3hh and the lightweight version. She's sharp, spooky and feels like a coiled spring at times, but stick her in front of a jump and she'll do it. She's 14yrs old and currently eventing
And new girl Lilly the Filly! 2yrs old. Have only had her a couple of months and she's very sweet and trusting
She's a bit of a podge at the mo: small head, huge body! So unlike Rosie think she is going to be a good doer and hopefully less sensitive.
Have had a Welsh D gelding before who'd had a bad time of it and was very riggy.
Having said that, he couldn't half jump, as can Rosie. Lovely. Apart from when she jumps out of the field!
This is my other D with my daughter at her very first show. She had only been jumping 18 inches up till then but he looked after her so well that she suddenly got confident and they were placed in a 2'6 class later in the day!
