How sad, I'm not an Eastenders fan, but I still think she was hilarious in are you being served...

I thought she was really good in Are you being served, but like you don't watch Eastenders.
How sad, that's no age really, cancer claims so many lives I hope they find the complete cure soon.

Cancer is such an evil disease, I hope the right developments can be made to eradicate this illness.

On another note, I read a report that she was 65 not 68? No matter.

This is very sad, i had no idea she was terminal, i knew she had recovered once before, not very old really 65, thoughts to her family and friends

Hi, friends,

I remember her in 'Are You Being Served' especially (my Nan used to love it!). Don't usually watch EastEnders, but saw some bits, + she was a great actress.

Nice lady. RIP, Wendy, you were much loved. BS x
