Went on the gallops for first time today

Never been to the gallops before as didn't know where they were, but my share owner took me today and it was funfunfun! And a lovely sunny day in the end after i woke up to pouring rain thinking 'nooooooooooooo'

Also if anyone read the boring bit advice post last week- he took off with owner on her first time back after 6months and got a real hold since it's a fixed ring now. Also didn't seem happy at all all the way there and back so going to try him in a straight bar/ mullen mouth/ whatever i can find loose ring for schooling and maybe something stronger for the gallops. Want him to be happy but also want some control! Also, think a martingale might be in order before someone gets a black eye.

Was nice to have a sensible ride on the less spooky but still fun girly too

Pointless happy post, but my ride out this morning really cheered me up on a very crappy day.

lasandsparks, i have no idea what they are called, they're sort of Lostock/Bolton/ Rivington way? I think!
