Only half heartedly been looking, then this pony was brought to our attention by a friend. Loved him, but, he was coughing a bit. He came over from Ireland 3 weeks ago, so the dealer said this isn’t unusual and it will clear up. Obviously I’d have him vetted anyway, but I don’t really want one with an allergy to dust?‍♀️ In every other way, he seems perfect, but with prices the way they are, I don’t want to spend silly money (to me anyway!)on something I may not be able to sell on. Think I’ve probably answered my own question, but what do y’all think??

unless the dealer is prepared to keep him until the cough clears up (if it were a harmless virus, although even then, 3 weeks is quite a long time) I’d walk away. It wouldn’t pass a vet anyway and you’d have exclusions on your insurance which would reduce its value considerably.
