After a week of delays (it's a long story!) Poppy is finally on her way home...squee!

And if today wasn't exciting enough, OH has just mentioned that him and his dad have been talking and if we can find a rear loading horsebox that'll carry the caterham (kit car) we could justify a horsebox of our very own! Double squee!

Feeling so wonderfully lucky to have such an amazingly supportive OH who is just as excited to have Poppy in his life and was happy to not only wake up early but drive to the hour and a half journey there and back. He's been avidly watching the horse cam to check Poppy is happy with his driving bless him.

Token cam pic until we get home...

Excellent news.

Sorry to be boring but I'm fairly sure you aren't allowed to look at those screens, which come under the definition of a TV screen, while driving. It should be shielded so the driver can't see it, which would be impossible to claim going on the position in your photo, should you be stopped.

Really glad you have got her on board and hope to see some more up dates soon.

Brilliant news!! Sorry to hijack thread slightly though, but surely looking at a sat nav screen wouldn't be much different to looking at that camera screen and should also then be considered an offence?? :o

Ah our mistake...we hired from a recommended horsebox company so presumed it was ok. I've never driven a box with a camera so didn't know any different but glad to know for future reference so thanks for flagging :)

It's a map not a TV screen but I believe if you were driving in a careless fashion / adjusting it while driving you could be done for that too.

Very poor of it to be in a hire box in that position, as ignorance would be no defence for their customers. Another reason to buy your own op ;)

Yes I going to mention the screen too. AFAIK it must be turned away from the driver.

Congratulations and looking forward to lots of pictures and updates x

So she's finally all settled in and OH has been settled down with a beer so thought I'd finally upload some pics of her at home.

Aww where am I?
