I have had to bring Ellie in, due to the driving rain, gales and thunder, and the fact that her paddock is completely flooded! Where is our summer? I'd place a bet now that we've probably already seen the best of it....

I cant believe this weather -horses are rugged up, paddling around in a field which looks more like a lake, and yet nothing seems to kill off the midges, so they still have their fly masks on.

I am fed up and in need of some sunshine!

I can't believe this weather either! Horse had to be brought in on the chifney last night as he behaved exactly as he does in the winter - ie disgusted with the weather - and he had a rug on for gods sake!!!

Oh come on! We haven't had rain for weeks! The ground here was cracking. You don't want rock solid ground do you?!

Would rather have solid ground than three inches of standing water!! And we seem to have had plenty of rain here over the past fortnight

it's been raining virtually solid since friday morning here. i've brought my boy back in at night as my field is looking like a mud bath. we've also had plenty of rain the last few weeks.

It's not like it's a complete shock is it.

It hasn't been that bad here... we had thunder storms and rain on Saturday but it came really nice afterwards... so maybe your weather will cheer up.
