We're on the move.......again!

I have finally made up my mind and George and I are moving yards next Weds. My current lovely yard is now sold, but we don't really know what is going to happen and a when a vacancy came up at a nice yard I couldn't afford to let it go, I just hope George won't get stressed moving again.

The new yard is 4 miles closer to home, there are 10 horses and over 20 acres of grazing which means all year turnout

there is a lovely outdoor school and great hacking. It is full livery mon-sun so no more mucking out

but costs less than my current yard! Also Quarrybank and her lovely 2 horses are there, so there will be someone to show me the ropes.

Bit apprehensive but relieved I've made up my mind, thankfully my YO was really good about it

.

So this week and next are going to be a bit strange, on thurs I have got to be interviewed for my job (restructuring) which is very scary, then next Mon or Tues they will tell us if we have got jobs and where and then on Weds I move George - phew! Think I'd better get the wine on ice now I'm going to need it

Good luck with the move. Mine will be moving on Friday or Saturday to a place closer to home - 2 mins drive!! I'll be slumming it, but I don't use the facilities available where I am, so not really worried about losing them!

Sounds like you've made a good choice, especially regarding the mucking out!
