If so, you seriously need to invest in some hi-viz.
Your grey horse and black clothes blended in perfectly with the dappled shade across the road you were trotting along. Fortunately, I am not familiar with the area and was driving slowly. I also note that you barely acknowledged me slowing right down for you.
I worry for your lovely horse. Many of the drivers I encountered were going much faster than I was and would only see you very late.
A hi viz tabard is not particularly stylish, I acknowledge. But it could save your life, and your horse's. And also possibly another motorist's.
