Hi, I would love to get started in Western riidng. If you have any experience of lessons, or know of someone who has tried Western riding in or around Kent then I would appreciate it.
Sterling Quarter Horses are in Bodiam and run The Garden of England shows - if you go on their website you will prob find some useful info. Also go on to wes website (Western Eq Society)as they have a list of wes instructors for all areas.
I would suggest you go to Susie Anderson nr Crowborough just outside Tunbridge Wells for lessons her website is www.ridewestern.co.uk and phone no. 07714706092. She taught my daughter from age 12 and she is now 22 and competes internationally. The atmosphere at her yard is just great and she's very good with beginners and advanced riders. She is also a UKCC level 3 coach. She teaches on quarter horses and holds clinics which you can go and watch and also has a western riding club too.
