Western riding lessons

I said this on another thread recently. I'm sure they are usually very good but I was extremely disappointed with my lesson there. Paying £45 to get ignored for an hour whilst they talked to other people was a real shame. Lovely horses though. I hope you have more fun.

Acknowledging up front that I have a horse in training at Oakridge Quarter Horses 10 mins north of Newark but - I have only ridden one of their several lessons horses and - I absolutely loved the experience and had learned and felt plenty to take back to my own horses who compete Western at national level.
Amazing facilities - probably about a 2 hour drive from you but worth it. I drive near on 3 hours each weekend just to enjoy one of my horses in that giant arena and get the feedback I need to work on others. Floats my boat, anyway.

Nearest place would be Soveriegn Quarter horse but they are in March which is Cambridgeshire. Can recommend them though, very good.

Yes i was purchased a lesson with david deptford for my bday! Ace pressie i loved it, and my 1 hour lesson was actually 1hr and half! Vvvv good!
