Western saddle fitters....the good, the bad and the very ugly.
Does anyone who has ever had a western saddle fitted have any recommendations, good, bad or ugly please 🙏

I've heard good things about Martin Glynn in Wales but I believe that you have to take your horse to him.

Can't comment on her saddles, but I messaged The Western Saddler about an order I was waiting on today, and she rang me minutes after to update me, which was pretty good.

Excellent very knowledgeable

Have used Maria Owen’s ( score) found her communication hit and miss but was happy with the saddles we purchased after she came out to measure my horses. This was many many years ago not recently
 
Same experience as TPO.
Would recommend Jennifer and also Martin who has a huge barn of used westwrn saddles. Very helpful guy, but yiu would need to go to him.
 
I'm aware of the issues TPO had, but I'm now on my second saddle from The Western Saddler, I got it last year and fit was checked last Friday and am very pleased with both. I will continue to use her in future as I've two youngsters who will need them at some point.
She also has a lady called Alison that she has trained who is covering the SE, and I think she's behind the new second hand saddle site, but I can't currently find the link. I'll come back and add if/as/when I do.
It's not a quick process but I'm pleased with the results and I do put the mileage into mine. First one has had about 1000 hours and is coming up on 10 years old without issue.
