Hi everyone!
My friend and I are planning a weekend ride and are camping over night in a local forest. My friend has several western saddles and has suggested going In them for ease carry things.
Now my question is, is fitting a western saddle as important as fitting an English saddle or are they 'easier' so to speak? I haven't got a clue with western saddles!!
We are trying one out tonight to see if me and my horse are comfortable in it but thought I should get some advice first. The last thing I want to do is hurt my horses back on a long ride in the wrong saddle!!!
