Western showing

What colours would you wear for showing a palomino? I don't want anything too loud and sparkly as it's my first real western competition, I was thinking navy, cream and tan / caramel.

Any western experts out there want to give me some tips or fashion styling?

I would go navy, as depending on the shade of palimino, it's the only thing that won't clash really. I would just go for a plain navy shirt, or plaid if you prefer (It might be to sparkly for you, but most western stores sell navy plaid with a bit of silver in it )

Do you reckon I need to bother with show pants or can I get away with jeans?

In the USA most people wear jeans or denim jods, so what ever you're most comfortable in should be fine
