I jsut have to, HAVE TO post this morning after such a good day yesturday and I'm such a proud Mummy this morning.
Took D to Weston Country Fayre yesturday (first show in 5 years) and decided to have a little go at the in-hand classes in the afternoon.
First class was Mountain and Moorland (large breeds) and despite a rather lazy trot (partly me to blame there) and a heck of a lot of calling (to what horse I don't know) we came 9th in the class.
Then we had a go at Best Condition Pony but didn't get placed, judge was rather keen on a couple of horses that were showing there so we didn't really even get a look in tbh. But, the trot was MUCH better this time
Last class was Coloured class and amoungst the roans, piebalds and a cremello we came 8th...this time his trot was so much better although he was still calling to someone (which by this time was getting fairly annoying!)
I am SO proud of my baby boy, no pictures as yet but hopefully there should be some soon!
Just had to share because I'm so pleased we did it
