Weston Lawns Derby?

Hi, was just wondering has anyone on here been to Weston Lawns and competed in their Derby? Or anything similar?

I love Weston Lawns but havent competed in their Derby - is there one scheduled soon?

dont know but if it is due to be run on the grass arena I would not bother. Will be good but IMO the grass is not established enough yet and it was rock hard all summer.

I remember them jumping some pony classes on the grass arena and people were pulling out because of holes and big open cracks in the ground right in front of the jumps apparantly

The grass arena was only put in earlier this year and last time I saw it you could still see throught what grass had grown to the bare earth. I am sure once the sward is more established it will be good but will take time.

Hey Weezy, there is one scheldued for December, have'nt got a clue about the ground there as have only jumped on their surface arenas!
