Don't know if anybody remembers me posting about my poor girl being really upset about an infection she had developed, well it's pretty much gone now, just a few bits of clearing up and all non painful now (thankfully) so here's a photo of it and the extent it can take even in 24hrs although I think this is maybe a few days after the initial burst.(no previous signs)

OMG, my GSD had something like that a few years ago... literally overnight all the hair on his back leg, stomach and groin fell out... his skin was all weepy and sore, he looked like he'd been burnt or something. Hope your doggie is better soon, Boss' grew back really quick and it never happened again.

One of my old GSDs used to suffer with flare ups of wet eczema, literally overnight. I used to clip the hair from the area and bathe with hibiscrub solution. It used to sort it out very quickly.

One of our terriers gets it, the most effective way we have found to treat it and avoid A/B's from the vet is to use the terramycin (Sp?) blue spray, although she ended up with a blue neck for a couple of weeks it knocked the infection on the head and it dried right up within 24hours - fantastic stuff!!
